As happy as I am to be home again my two years living in Canton Ohio really made an impact on me. I immersed myself in the commUNITY at every level to learn what made Hall of Fame City tick. With the help of my dear friends and cohorts from Rising Hope Canton (thank you to Chad & Jamie Minor, Dr Carl & Anne Pace) I got to know everyone from the at risk and disenfranchised to the Mayor, Chief of Police, City Council members, County and State Representatives, local clergy, Canton City Schools leadership, Chamber of Commerce members, Pro Football Hall of Fame leadership and not least the many amazing citizens that make up Stark County.

Needless to say after two years of diligence I have opinions about who, what, where, why and how this amazing little town an hour south of Cleveland became a hollowed out shell of its former self. I will share observations and opinions here with the understanding that I want nothing more than to see the commUNITY live up to its full potential.

If you like the commentary shared here you can help me keep up to speed on the happenings in Stark County by following this thread and interacting with me on social media (Youtube, Twitter, Instagram) as @YesCantonCan. These are identities specific to Canton and it’s return to greatness.
